New Content Management Technology taken over by Adobe

A major agreement was reached between Adobe and Day Software    wherein the Adobe would buy all the shares of Day Software at a cost of $240 million.

The new acquisition of Day Software would invigorate and strengthen the enterprise level software services of Adobe including its digital asset management, Web content management           and social collaboration offerings.

Rob Tarkoff, senior vice president and general manager of Adobe digital enterprise solutions said, “Adobe’s acquisition of Day represents a key milestone in our efforts toward delivering best-in-class customer experience management solutions to enterprises and governments worldwide. With the addition of Day to our enterprise portfolio, we will be able to enhance the value of our offering and deliver on our vision of the web as the hub of customer interaction.”

The Content Management Technology of Day’s solutions will help clients to better incorporate their global Web presence and business applications, unleashing value across their sales, marketing and service processes.
